Florists in Mt Eden, Auckland — four flower shops on Mt Eden Road and Sandringham Road, cut-offs and delivery fees

Mt Eden has four florists with shopfronts. Three are on one short stretch of Mt Eden Road by the village: Roses Florist at 437, Flower Station at 461 and The Flower Hub at 454. The fourth is Urban Flowers at 27 Sandringham Road. For a weekday same-day order, the latest online cut-off is 1:30pm, at Roses Florist and Flower Station. The Flower Hub and Urban Flowers close at 1pm. Delivery inside Mt Eden costs $12 to $15, and The Flower Hub delivers free in central Auckland on orders of $100 or more.

Everything below is each shop's own published terms, read from its website on 2 November 2026. Cut-offs and fees change, especially around Mother's Day, Valentine's Day and Christmas, so check the shop's page or ring before you rely on one.

Roses Florist — 437 Mt Eden Road

A studio florist in the village, open 8am to 5pm Monday to Thursday, 8am to 6pm on Friday and 9am to 2pm on Saturday, closed on Sunday. Its delivery page has a $15 fee for Mt Eden, Epsom and Newmarket and $18 for the rest of Auckland, with rural addresses from $35. Same-day orders close at 1:30pm on weekdays and 9:30am on Saturday. It also runs a 3-hour urgent service on weekdays when ordered by 2pm: $20 to Mt Eden, Epsom and Newmarket, from $25 elsewhere. Urgent delivery isn't offered on Saturdays.

The Flower Hub — 454 Mount Eden Road

Across the road from Roses. Its delivery page says same-day delivery is available on orders placed online by 1pm, or by phone before 2pm, for residential addresses; business addresses need ordering by 10am, and Saturday orders by 10am. It delivers Monday to Saturday. Its FAQ gives free delivery anywhere in Auckland on orders over $100, and the delivery page limits that to central areas. The fee on smaller orders isn't published; checkout works it out from the address. Weekday pickup runs from 8am to 3pm.

Flower Station — 461 Mount Eden Road

A small shop a few doors along, which also trades at the Parnell Market on Saturday mornings. Its delivery page has the simplest fee on the street: a flat $15 on every order. Weekday orders placed by 9:30am go out in the morning, and orders placed between 10am and 1:30pm go out in the afternoon. Saturday orders close at 10am. Sunday and public-holiday delivery is by arrangement, so contact the shop before you order; an order placed without arranging it goes out on the next working day. Its contact page lists two different sets of opening hours, so ring before you make a special trip.

Urban Flowers — 27 Sandringham Road

On Sandringham Road at the Kingsland end of Mt Eden, open 9am to 6pm on weekdays, 9am to 5pm on Saturday and 10am to 3pm on Sunday. Its delivery page lists a fee for every suburb: $12 to Mt Eden, Sandringham, Kingsland, Morningside and St Lukes, $18 to most of Auckland including Epsom, Newmarket, Grafton and Ponsonby, and more for rural areas. Same-day orders close at 1pm, or ring if the address is close by. Saturday deliveries go out with a 10:30am courier, so order by 6pm on Friday to guarantee one. On Sunday it delivers only within about 3km of the shop. Ring to check first.

Which Mt Eden florist has the latest same-day cut-off?

Roses Florist and Flower Station, both at 1:30pm on weekdays. Roses also takes 3-hour urgent orders until 2pm, from $20 locally, and The Flower Hub takes phone orders for same-day until 2pm. Urban Flowers closes online same-day orders at 1pm but asks you to ring if the address is local. On a Saturday, order by 9:30am at Roses or by 10am at The Flower Hub or Flower Station.

How much is flower delivery in Mt Eden?

$12 to $15 to a Mt Eden address, going by the published fees. Urban Flowers charges $12, Roses Florist and Flower Station $15, and The Flower Hub delivers free in central Auckland on orders of $100 or more. To the rest of Auckland it is $18 at Roses and Urban Flowers and still $15 at Flower Station. Rural addresses cost more everywhere; Roses starts at $35.

Can you get flowers delivered in Mt Eden on a Sunday?

Sometimes. Urban Flowers is the only one of the four with its shop open on Sunday, 10am to 3pm, and it delivers locally within about 3km if you ring first. Flower Station will deliver on Sunday by arrangement. Roses Florist is closed and The Flower Hub only delivers Monday to Saturday. Sending flowers to Auckland City Hospital or Starship

Auckland City Hospital and Starship are in Grafton, at the bottom of Mt Eden. Urban Flowers lists Grafton at $18; the others charge their standard Auckland fee. Say it is a hospital delivery when you order and give the patient's full name and ward; some wards don't accept flowers, so check first.
