Florists in Parnell, Auckland — flower shops, same-day cut-offs and delivery fees

Parnell has two florists with shopfronts, Flowers After Hours on Parnell Road and Grace and Flora on Faraday Street, and The Botanist is a few minutes away on Teed Street in Newmarket. All three deliver across Auckland. The details below are each shop's own published terms, read from their websites on 19 October 2026. Cut-offs change, so check the shop's page or ring before you rely on one.

Flowers After Hours — 523 Parnell Road

The latest same-day cut-off of the three, and the only one open on Sundays. Its location page lists the Parnell shop as open 7:30am to 7pm on weekdays, 9am to 7pm on Saturday and 9am to 5pm on Sunday, closed on public holidays. It also has shops in Botany Town Centre, Stonefields and Eastridge in Mission Bay.

• Parnell and Newmarket: $12.50 delivery, seven days, same-day if ordered before 6pm. Business addresses need ordering before 2pm.
• Other Auckland suburbs, Monday to Friday: $17. Same-day cut-off 4pm for central suburbs and the CBD, 2pm for outer areas, and noon for business addresses.
• Weekends, all Auckland suburbs: $20 on Saturday, $25 on Sunday.

Grace and Flora — 8 Faraday Street, Parnell

A boutique florist that does a lot of weddings, events and dried flowers alongside everyday bouquets. Its delivery page says it delivers across Auckland from Monday to Saturday, with same-day orders by 2pm for homes, 11am for businesses and 10am on Saturdays. Delivery fees are not listed on that page.

The Botanist — 25 Teed Street, Newmarket

Just over the border in Newmarket, with fresh and dried flowers made in its studio and click and collect from the shop. Its shipping page gives a same-day cut-off of 1pm on weekdays and 10am on Saturdays, 10am on weekdays for business addresses, and delivery Monday to Saturday across Auckland, priced at checkout by location.

Which one, for which job

• Ordering late in the afternoon for someone in Parnell or Newmarket: Flowers After Hours, whose page gives a 6pm cut-off for those two suburbs.
• Sunday: Flowers After Hours is the only one of the three that lists Sunday delivery.
• A wedding or event: Grace and Flora and The Botanist both list event work; Grace and Flora has a wedding enquiry form.
• Picking up yourself: all three have a shop. The Botanist lists click and collect Monday to Saturday.
• Sending to an office: order in the morning. Business cut-offs are earlier than home cut-offs at every one of the three.

Delivering to Auckland Hospital or a funeral home

Parnell sits next to Grafton, so Auckland City Hospital is a short run from all three shops. Say it is a hospital delivery when you order, and give the ward and the patient's full name.
