An independent directory of NZ florists
We don't sell flowers. We don't take kickbacks from the florists we list. We just point you at the people most likely to do a good job for you in your part of New Zealand.
Why this exists
Searching "flowers near me" in NZ generally returns a wall of relabel networks — sites that look local but actually pass your order to whichever wholesaler is closest, or worst case, to a flower-from-overseas operation that doesn't exist as a physical shop. The bouquet that arrives rarely matches the one pictured. We started this directory because we kept being burnt by it ourselves.
How we pick listings
The bar to be listed: a real, NZ-based, owner-operated or owner-led florist with a physical shop. We look at sustained Instagram presence, real-world reputation, and whether their work matches the description. We rotate listings as the scene changes — florists close, new ones open, styles evolve.
How (and whether) we make money
Right now: we don't. The directory is a personal project run from Aotearoa. Eventually, if it earns its keep, we'll either run light affiliate fees (clearly disclosed), accept paid premium listings (clearly disclosed), or run a small subscription product for florists who want lead matching. None of those are live yet, and none of them will ever change which florist we point you at — paid placement will be tagged as such.
